FAIRGROUNDS FOR THE FUTURE

MORE THAN THE 4-H FAIRGROUNDS

While long-recognized as the home of the annual Hamilton County 4-H Fair, the grounds serve the county throughout the year, including:

  • Extension programming for all ages
  • Home to more than 800 events annually, from club meetings to weddings
  • Location for organizations like Good Samaritan to distribute goods to those in need
  • Site for vaccine distribution during 2020-21 pandemic
  • Official voting location for Hamilton County residents
  • Public safety training site for first responders
  • Designated county disaster emergency center

In 2022, the Hamilton County Council generously included fairground improvements in its financial plan to include these SILOS@37 features

  • A new Bicentennial Pavilion with amenities for social events
  • 24,000 sq. ft Exhibition Center perfect for large equipment shows and regional conferences
  • 20,000 sq. ft Show Arena (Phase 2)
  • A much-improved 10,000 sq. ft Llama Barn that will allow year-around functions
  • Enhanced student learning spaces —STEM
  • Increase rental space capacity to provide appropriate space for events of all sizes
  • Outdoor garden spaces

These improvements will accomplish the following goals:

  • Enhance and provide a safe and accessible public space for community events and festivals
  • Promote and support the activities of the Hamilton County agricultural and life science industries
  • World-class learning space for new programming
  • Remain a leading point of interest for tourism and residents
  • Act as a catalyst for economic development for the City of Noblesville and Hamilton County

There is still much to be done to bring the fairgrounds forward. Join us in supporting the Fairgrounds for the Future.
